Section 39. Matsi - Varbla.

Start: Matsi Port

Finish: Varbla village centre, 

Itinerary: Matsi – Kulli – Rädi – Selja – Aruküla – Raheste – Varbla

Road surface: Roads covered in asphalt and gravel. Near Matsi, a short section of sandy - rocky and occasionally overgrown beach.

Dangerous places: Be careful when walking along the small country and village roads (sharp turns, narrow), as well as along the motor road and ensure safety.

Good to know! No catering companies are available throughout the whole itinerary. The only shop is located in Varbla.

Alternatives: Local guides offer to cover the Matsi – Varbla section via the beach. You can take several roads to get from Varbla to the seashore (4 – 6 km), where you will get a clear view of the Varbla Islet (Varbla laiud) archipelago. Due to birds nesting on the islet, it is forbidden to go there from 15.04. to 30.06. At the seacoast, there are areas for staying overnight.
